Job Description

  • Collect and deposit daily sales from two outlets
  • Exchange money into coins and bills to accommodate the daily cash needs of both shops
  • Organize and send out all invoices and transaction reports to the accountant
  • Prepare and analyze food and beverage costs on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis and recommend alternatives to improve costs.
  • Perform the monthly food and beverage inventories count and extension.
  • Establish and maintain a database for food and beverage inventory stock including up-to-date pricing.
  • Ensure proper storage, count and assurance towards all food and beverage items.
  • Establish and maintain an invoiced allocation transfer system for food and beverage supplies to both shops. Input those allocations and transfers into the point of sales system daily. Summarize and prepare invoices for these transactions daily
  • Order and receive all food and beverage items and input daily all invoices into the point of sales system
  • Quality assurance upon receiving and accurate count on everything received from suppliers
  • Generate monthly food and beverage cost of sales.
  • Price all food and beverage storeroom requisitions and compute the following:
  • Monthly food and beverage actual costs by outlet
  • Monthly storeroom variances for food and beverage
  • Assist management in menu costing in order to establish menu item sale prices.
  • Establish and monitor the following operational controllers in the two outlets:
  • Menu Items (ensure that they are properly rung up the system)
  • All recipes are updated and correctly in the system
  • Guest check void controls
  • Cash handling and check settlement
  • Operation inventories and reconciliations
  • Point of Sale system user capabilities and controls
  • Portion controls
  • Waste control, count and input in the point of sales system daily 
  • Prepare F&B reports as requested by management.
  • Order and supply both shops with everything else that are not food and beverage related but are necessary for the daily operations e.g. plates, glasses silverware, chemicals, paper, charcoal etc.
  • Count and control weekly appropriate levels of all above non food and beverage items
  • Supervise and guide person responsible to transfer product between the two shops
  • Assure that transfer vehicle is clean as well as mechanically maintained  

Candidate Profile

  • Some previous experience in Stock control essential
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work independantly but also as part of a team
  • Able to multi task
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work Saturday mornings
  • Native Greek speaker; fluent English
