Recruitment Consultant

Nicosia Cyprus Full-Time Non-Remote

As a Recruiter, you're the vital link between clients and candidates. The role is demanding, diverse and involves:

  • Using sales, business development, marketing techniques and networking to attract business from client companies within Cyprus across all industry except Hospitality and domestic labor
  • Visiting clients or video conferencing with them to build and develop positive relationships with them
  • Identify and pitch 5 companies per day within Cyprus – to increase to 20 when your vacancies fall below 10. As per company Business. Dev strategy: Linkedin connect and message – followed by email – where no social media is possible, calls must be made as emails may go to spam
  • Developing a good understanding of client companies, their industry, what they do, their work culture and environment – keeping abreast of market and business developments and news local to Cyprus and updating your team
  • Using social media especially your Linkedin premium account to advertise positions, attract candidates and build relationships
  • Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be in work
  • Using HR Innovate’s database to match the right person to the client's vacancy
  • Receiving and reviewing applications, managing interviews and tests and creating a shortlist of candidates for the client
  • Assisting the portfolio manager and team on any advisory projects that you may be asked to work on
  • Preparing CVs and correspondence to forward to clients regarding suitable applicants
  • Organizing interviews for candidates as requested by the client
  • Informing candidates about the results of their interviews
  • Negotiating pay and salary rates and finalizing arrangements between client and candidates
  • Offering advice to both clients and candidates on pay rates, training and career progression
  • Working towards and exceeding targets that may relate to the number of candidates placed, a value to be billed to clients or business leads generated [
  • Report and update management on any training needs you have or require to manage your role as an HR and Recruitment Consultant
  • Follow up with Clients, Candidates and contact for Google reviews and nurture post placement relationships and contacts

  • Fluent English essential; Fluent Greek a bonus
  • Excellent telephone sales skills and manner
